FlapJackKids grew straight from a mother’s heart. Named after our Founder’s son Jack, this line of reversible products can be flipped like a pancake. As a mom, Jackie knew how important it was for children to cover their heads in both warm and cold weather. When Jack refused to wear a hat, it was time to put the fun in functional! With the invention of a unique line of parent-approved toppers, Jack forgot all about hats and became a parrot or a pirate, a lion or a monkey, a shark or a crocodile depending on the day. There was no limit to his imagination! At FlapJackKids, our goal is to thrill both kids and parents. We use high-quality, soft, durable fabrics. Our sun hats provide UPF 50+ protection (blocking out 99.9% of the sun’s rays) to help keep little ones safe from the sun. FlapJackKids products are currently available in over 2,500 stores around the world. Look for our expanded line of reversible winter hats with matching puppet mittens, brimmed sun hats, baby sun hats with matching bibs, as well as coordinating totes and cover ups. Coming soon… mismatched animal socks and cozy reversible scarves.
We love the endless possibilities of reversible and who doesn’t love getting two options in one. See you on the flip side!
The Ivy & Alex™ Reversible Dress Project – Let’s Turn it Around
This story started with the dreams of a ten-year-old girl named Alex who wanted to turn things around for kids in need. A mother daughter chat sowed the seeds for a joint initiative between Flapjacks and World Vision. It was decided that Flapjacks would bring a passion for reversible to a dress project in support of World Vision’s quest to improve life for children, families and communities everywhere. Together, Flapjacks Founder Jackie and her daughter Alex designed four A-line reversible dresses in vibrant colours, made of a breezy cotton blend. Knowing how fast little girls grow, Flapjacks created a unique frock that literally adapts to your little sprout. Each dress becomes a tunic and then finally a top!
How Does the Ivy & Alex™ Dress Project Work?
The colour of each Ivy & Alex dress represents a specific need identified by World Vision. By choosing a dress, you are also making the decision to join World Vision and Flapjacks in the fight against poverty and injustice. The purchase of a dress in
Ivy stands for ‘I Value You’ and represents each and every person who will benefit from this initiative.
